Becoming a LifeLine Volunteer

Here is some of what we are looking at should you go through the process of becoming a LifeLine Volunteer.

Six months of participation on any of the Free Spirits-hosted message boards or participation on boards not hosted by Free Spirits which can include but aren't limited to BoyChat, GirlChat, Open Hands or Christian Boylove Forum.
Six months registration with your nick at LifeLine.
Some participation in the chatroom to where at least three other Volunteers can speak for you having a positive contribution to give to LifeLine.
An email as to what your experiences have been in the past or present that could contribute to LifeLine and a little bit about yourself.

Please note, we do not expect you to reveal details that could jeopardize your anonymity.

Your email will be reviewed by all of the current Volunteers.

A Volunteer's first 30 days with LifeLine will be considered a probationary period where we can assess your skills and your ability to work with people. There will also be reviews of your service at three months, six months, one year and then yearly thereafter.

While the above requirements are a good starting point for a person who is interested in joining LifeLine, meeting or not meeting the above requirements does not automatically guarantee your acceptance or rejection as a volunteer.

Each person will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Any person who is accepted as a Volunteer agrees to abide by the rules and guidelines of conduct that apply to all Volunteers of LifeLine.
